Compatibility & Reference Number

FXWTC

Please verify compatibility with us before ordering. Exact system models and alternate references have not been verified. Consult the manufacturer's documentation for package quantity, dimensions, certified performance, contaminant reductions, capacity, operating limits and replacement interval. Do not assume compatibility with every whole-house or under-sink system.

Maintenance Considerations

Follow the system manufacturer's cartridge-replacement guidance. Reduced flow, taste changes or visible debris may warrant inspection, but supply conditions and other components can cause similar problems. Cartridge replacement does not establish that water is safe to drink or guarantee resolution.

Installation & Safety

Follow the system and cartridge instructions for water isolation and pressure relief. Inspect the housing and seals, fit the specified cartridge in the prescribed orientation, and complete required sanitizing, flushing and commissioning procedures. Check for leaks before returning the system to service.

Observe manufacturer water-quality, temperature and pressure limits. Do not assume microbiologically unsafe water becomes safe. Do not mix sanitizing chemicals or reuse disposable cartridges. Seek qualified assistance for damaged housings or persistent leaks. No universal housing-release direction, tool-free procedure, five-minute flush or three-to-six-month interval is assumed.
