- Disconnect power to the dryer.
- Remove the top panel and front panel.
- Support the drum and remove the drive belt.
- Lift the drum out of the dryer cabinet.
- Remove the old top bearing assembly from the bulkhead.
- Install the new top bearing assembly.
- Place the drum back into position.
- Reinstall the drive belt around the drum and motor pulley.
- Reassemble the front and top panels.
- 10. Restore power and test.
