- Disconnect power to the dryer.
- Remove the back panel of the dryer.
- Disconnect the wire connectors from the old heater assembly.
- Remove the mounting screws securing the heater housing.
- Remove the old heater and housing assembly.
- Install the new heater and housing assembly.
- Secure with mounting screws.
- Reconnect the wire connectors.
- Replace the back panel.
- 10. Restore power and run a test cycle.
