Step-by-Step Installation Instructions

Warning: Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet or shut off the breaker before starting. Allow the drum light to cool completely to avoid burns.

1. Open the dryer door and locate the light cover lens on the inside of the cabinet above or beside the drum opening.
2. Press the retaining tab on the edge of the lens, or gently pry the edge with a flat plastic trim tool, to release the cover.
3. Remove the old lens and clear away any broken pieces from the lamp housing.
4. Inspect the bulb and socket while access is open, and replace the bulb if it is burned out.
5. Align the new lens with the mounting tabs on the housing and press until it snaps fully into place.
6. Confirm the lens is seated flush and does not move when pushed.
7. Restore power, open the door, and verify the drum light illuminates through the new lens.
