- Unplug the dryer from power
- Remove the back panel of the dryer
- Locate the cycling thermostat on the blower housing or heating element housing
- Disconnect the wire leads from the old thermostat
- Remove the mounting screw
- Install the new cycling thermostat in the same position
- Secure with the mounting screw
- Reconnect the wire leads
- Replace the back panel
- 10. Plug in and test the dryer
