- Disconnect the dishwasher from power at the breaker and shut off the water supply.
- Remove the lower access panel and/or pull the dishwasher out to access the bottom of the unit.
- Disconnect the wire harness from the old pump assembly.
- Remove the mounting hardware securing the pump to the sump.
- Remove the old pump assembly, noting the orientation of any gaskets or seals.
- Install the new WD26X10051 pump assembly with new gaskets/seals as needed and secure the mounting hardware.
- Reconnect the wire harness.
- Reinstall the access panel and restore power and water supply.
- Run a short cycle to confirm proper water circulation with no leaks.
