GE WE01X34600 Dryer Door Striker White

GE Dryer Door Striker White - Part WE01X34600

Ensure your GE dryer door latches securely with this genuine OEM door striker in white. Part number WE01X34600 is the catch piece mounted on the dryer cabinet that the door latch hooks onto when the door is closed. When the striker becomes worn, cracked, or broken, the door may not close properly, causing the dryer to fail to start since most dryers have a door switch safety feature. This factory-original replacement restores a solid, reliable door closure.

Key Features

• Mounts to the dryer cabinet to engage the door latch
• Direct replacement for select GE and Hotpoint front-load dryers

• Dryer door will not latch or stay closed
• Dryer does not start because the door switch is not engaged
• Door feels loose or wobbly when closed
• Visible cracks or damage on the existing door striker

Installation Tips

Unplug the dryer before beginning the repair. The door striker is typically held in place with one or two screws on the front panel of the dryer cabinet. Remove the screws, pull out the old striker, and position the new one in the same location. Secure it with the screws and test the door to ensure it latches properly and engages the door switch.
