Dryer Vent Louvered Hood – Universal
Safety first: unplug the dryer and disconnect power before servicing the vent system, and have a qualified technician handle any work you are not comfortable performing.
This louvered vent hood is the exterior termination for your dryer's exhaust duct. It keeps outside air, rain, and pests from entering the duct while letting warm, moist air escape. When the hood is cracked, the louvers stick open, or the hood is damaged, lint and moisture can get into the wall cavity and exhaust airflow suffers. This is a direct replacement for the original hood.
